About Us

Together, we’re building a sustainable, vibrant, and resilient economy for Nelson and the surrounding area—one that works for all community members and businesses.

Our partnership is made up of the City of Nelson, Regional District of Central Kootenay Areas E & F, Nelson & District Chamber of Commerce, and Community Futures Central Kootenay. We work together to identify and act on community economic development opportunities for our community.

With an advisory committee of community and business leaders and a coordinating committee focused on action, we ensure our work aligns with what matters most to our region.

Whether it’s addressing local economic challenges, supporting businesses, or advocating for policies that benefit us all, we are committed to creating a thriving economy—rooted in collaboration and focused on community well-being.
